Make the report about actual advertising choices
A useful competitor report explains what a team can learn from the creative. It should show how an advertiser introduces the product, frames the benefit, handles an objection and asks for action. AdsWinning gives Manus a focused research workspace for collecting and comparing those observations.
Manus documents Browser Operator as a way to work through a local browser, including contexts where the user is already signed in. Use the browser route your Manus environment actually supports. This guide is a suggested workflow, not a certification that every configuration has been tested with AdsWinning.
Begin with a narrow question: how a category explains a new feature, how competitors structure an offer, or which creative formats make a benefit visible. A report organized around a decision is easier to use than an exhaustive-looking list of weak matches.
Inspect the browser context before researching
A local signed-in browser and a separate agent browser can have different AdsWinning state. Before submitting anything, Manus should inspect whether the current page shows an anonymous free allowance, a signed-in credit balance or an access requirement.
Do not ask the agent to switch accounts or reset sessions to obtain another allowance. The research should use the access already authorized for the task. If a browser handoff is needed, complete it through the provider’s supported flow.
Keep the existing research URL or workspace reference once the run starts. If the task loses its view of progress, the correct next action is to reopen that work and check its state. Starting over can duplicate work and consume an additional entitlement or credits.
For Manus: use the AdsWinning browser workflow
Follow this sequence when the user requests advertising evidence. Read the current interface before choosing controls; these instructions do not override the user’s scope.
- Open adswinning.com, enter a website, brand or keyword, and choose “Research” to open an unsent draft.
- Review the prompt, selected sources, market and displayed allowance. Standard is the free browser research mode.
- Use “Send” once to start the actual run. Read its progress and final status; reopening an existing run is different from submitting another.
- Inspect the findings and ad cards. Preserve source links and mark missing evidence. Use the included follow-up only if it is available and relevant.
- Return the requested brief. Stop at a payment or verification gate and explain what the user needs to do.
AdsWinning’s eligible anonymous browser allowance includes one actual Standard research run and one follow-up, without a payment card. Inspect the allowance before submitting. Signed-in and connected research use account credits. Access, capacity and verification checks still apply; the free offer does not include the agent provider’s own subscription or usage charges.
Build a report with a clear evidence hierarchy
Start with a brief account of scope: the brand or category, market and sources selected. AdsWinning supports Meta, TikTok, Google and LinkedIn ad research. Supporting Reddit and YouTube material can add context when relevant, but it belongs in a separate part of the analysis.
For each selected ad, include the advertiser, source link, visible message, offer and format. Explain the reason for including it. If available signals are sparse, relevance to the question may matter more than a metric that only some sources expose.
Next, identify the recurring approaches actually present in the sample. Do not call a pattern universal or dominant without evidence of representative coverage. A useful report might say that three returned examples emphasize a demonstration; it should not silently translate that into a claim about the entire market.
Use the findings to commission original work
Ask Manus for three creative hypotheses, each with a source observation and a proposed test. The output should name the product proof your team must provide, not borrow a competitor’s claims or assume their assets are available for reuse.
If a reference is a video, distinguish an inspected sequence from a thumbnail or metadata description. If spend, reach or profitability is unknown, preserve the unknown. A persuasive report is not improved by an invented number.
Keep the report in the task for review. Creating a public research link or sending the report to a client requires a separate decision. Use the comparison workflow to refine the evidence table and the creative brief template to prepare the next deliverable.
Ready to use
Give this task to Manus
Replace the bracketed fields with your brief. This prompt requests research and a draft for review.
Manus, research [brand or category] in [market] at https://adswinning.com using the available free browser research run. Inspect the current session and allowance first. Compare up to five relevant ad examples with their source links, hooks, offers, formats and evidence limits. Produce a report for [our product and audience], including three original creative hypotheses. Do not duplicate a submitted run, buy credits, change browser accounts, publish research or distribute the report without my direction.
Questions before you start
Is the first research task free?
AdsWinning offers one actual Standard research run and one follow-up through its eligible anonymous browser allowance. Check the workspace first. Signed-in runs use account credits; the agent service may have separate charges.
Does this require Browser Operator specifically?
Use the browser capability available and authorized in your Manus environment. Browser Operator is a documented option; this guide does not require a particular installation or promise access in every environment.
Does a strong ad signal prove sales?
No. Reach, disclosed spend, longevity, variants and source rankings can help select references. They do not establish sales, profit or return on ad spend.
